The Extra Long L Bar helps you move your work over a little - should you have a large piece of work, or a broader space to navigate such as a wide chair arm. This bar provides an extra six inches on the horizontal. Silver grey color matches the Silver Grey workstand, but will not fit in the Stainless Steel workstand (the shiny one!). The diameter of the rod is about 12 mm; circumference is 39 mm.
FYI: Lowery Accessories are not compatible with Stainless Steel Stands unless indicated. Stainless Steel Accessories are marked as such.

Just the right size for my stitching chair
Love my setup with this longer bar. My sofa has a wide arm so before I had to be scrunched in the corner with the 6" standard that came with the Lowry. Having the few extra inches works great.
So glad I bought the extension for my frame. Made all the difference since my chair has thick arms. Great service and and fast delivery.
I'm really glad I got the extender bar. I can sit in my couch recliner and still cross-stitch easily. The stand was a great investment!
The extra long L bar is fantastic. It made using the Lowery stand even better. The added length was needed while sitting in my favorite chair that has very thick armrests.
