The Peacock Keeper cross stitch pattern by Lindy Stitches. A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men. This project is everything: gorgeous overdyed flosses in the most peacockish colors illustrating the best proverb I know. Peacocks to me have always been a symbol of extravagance with a tinge of the ridiculous. Is this Willie Wonka? It's up to you, but I can imagine he wouldn't be opposed to becoming a fancy bird farmer in his retirement. xo
