I bought this because I'm an Austen fan (I love that Northanger Abbey and Mansfield Park are included) and because I wanted a needleminder that's large enough to grip my scissors as well as my needles and keep them close at hand. The needleminder AND its backing magnet can be easily stuck to the front-facing side of the q-snap clamp on my Lowery stand. They stay put quite well.
