Chosen Precious Child : a cross stitch pattern by Lindy Stitches. Perfect for Easter and lent meditation.
This is verse three of the hymn "Alas and Did My Saviour Bleed" by Isaac Watts. I charted verse one as well using the same title. The first two verses have been charted in the same format and are titled Alas and Did My Saviour Bleed and Love Beyond Degree.
With Easter fast approaching, this was exactly what I needed. When I stitch words, I meditate on them. The text is from Isaac Watt's beautiful hymn written in 1707, and they describe exactly how I feel about the cross. Sign your own name in black as a testimony to your gratitude. Full alphabet included.
