Napping in the Poinsettias is the winter installment of my Cats in the Garden series, where cats strike their classic kitty poses amongst the blooms. This sleepy gray tabby got tired waiting for Santa to arrive  All four of the series fit into a traditional 5 x 7 frame for easy finishing!  😻 Prancing in the Tulips is the spring part of this series.  Stretching in the Daisies is the second part, and Bathing in the Asters is the third part.  Click here to see the entire Cats in the Garden series.


SIZE on 32 count linen or 16 count aida:  4 x 6 inches (Fits nicely in a standard 5 x 7 frame!)
FABRIC:  32 count Star Sapphire linen by Wichelt
SUITABLE ALTERNATIVE FABRICS:  32 count Water Lily linen by Wichelt32 count Light Mint Lugana by Zweigart, 16 count French Lace Aida by Wichelt
STITCHES USED: Full cross stitch, back stitch
FLOSS:  Weeks Dye Works & DMC. Full DMC conversion provided.  This pattern uses one skein each of Weeks Dye Works Galvanized, Cypress, and Garnet.  The rest is DMC.
