So many things to say… 1. The hand-crafted quality of the woodwork is breathtaking. 2.I could not find a single imperfection in the woodwork or the stain. 3. Over time the “adjustment” properties of many lap frames can “wear out”. I do NOT foresee this happening because: A. Industrial grade metal hardware is utilized internally B.Washers have been placed at high stress areas C. Much philosophical thought went into design longevity. The packaging (including a woolen sleeve), is outstanding. The Potoky has a nice “feel” in your lap. It is very sturdy. It folds compactly for storage and travel. I am currently using an 11”x11” Qsnap frame without difficulty. THIS is worth the splurge for your craft.
