For the summer season, the "trunk town" is hopping. Many of the tree cavities that a woodpecker creates are utilized by other animals throughout the year. This shows some of these creatures in a fun format, along with native plants and vines.

Stitch count is 240 wide x 88 high and the model is stitched with two strands of thread over two strands of linen. The model is stitched on 32 count "Cafe Au Lait" linen from Fiber On A Whim. This is a very lightly mottled neutral fabric and the closest DMC equivalent is 0006/0007. The drum is trimmed with "Potato" velveteen from Lady Dot Creates.

(*) This thread is used for backstitching around the design and was chosen to blend with the fabric color. If you are using a different fabric you may want to use a different thread for the backstitching.
