Come join me and bird-loving photographer Chris Gilbert on a wonderful stitchy adventure all about birds!  This crush is the lankiest member of the Bird Crush Club!  Just look at those legs!  The Western Meadowlark is so fun to stitch with his bright yellow belly and his old-fashioned "necktie."

SIZE on 32 count linen or 16 count aida: 5.4 inch circle
FABRIC:  16 count Sea Lily aida by Wichelt
ALTERNATIVE FABRICS:  Any medium blue or green

2. A glossy species postcard -- SHIPS FREE with all physical pattern orders --featuring one of Chris' photos on the front and his personal field notes on the species on the back so you can learn more about your crush.  These are so pretty you could frame it if you wanted!
3. One skein of overdyed cotton floss that is charted in the pattern.
